12 Days of Christmas // The Christmas Card {Movie Review}

EEPS, we've made it to day six, dearest readers! Halfway through and – ahh – so much fun. I got caught back up on reading everyone's posts last night, and I totally suggest you read some if you haven't. Or read more if you have! Definitely some good stuff. ;)

Today I'm doing another Christmas movie review! I actually found this movie through 12DoC during the first year of the party, and I'm so glad I did! :)

The Christmas Card ~ Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

In the midst of war in Afghanistan, Cody Cullen is touched by a lovely card sent by Faith Spelman from the small, picturesque town of Nevada City, California. As months pass, the card never leaves his side, giving him the strength to survive and setting him on a mission to find her.

I got this movie soon after hearing about it through 12DoC, and I've watched it several times since then!! It's really good, with funny and sweet moments. ;D

Spoilers here (basically, skip this paragraph), but when Cody's friend died...and then he visited the guy's fiancée... Like, *sobs* All the broken heart emojis go right here. <33

One of my absolute favorite things about this movie is the humor. Faith's dad and uncle are just SO hilarious!! xD Particularly when they are making fun of her boyfriend and/or trying to get her and Cody together... Love it!! XD

Speaking of which, Faith's boyfriend was really weird... Like, weird, y'all. So there's my least favorite part of the movie, without which, my favorite part wouldn't be so funny sooooo...

Also! The Christmasy, snowy, epic setting was absolutely lovely and so Christmas feeling. ^_^ I really love this movie, and I want to re-watch it soon!! :)

      Hehe, that's a very good question! She certainly didn't fall for his looks...or his voice...or his hair...hmm, his money? Nah, she's not that kind of gal. ;)
      Thank you!
