Haiku

Hello everyone! :) I didn't get the next part of Being Little Sister for y'all this week, so instead your getting my attempt at haiku. (For anyone who doesn't know, Haiku is a form of poetry in which the first line is five syllables, the second is seven, and the third is five again.)
I'm not a poet. However I did enjoy writing these. ;) They aren't very good.

I wrote this one yesterday.

Blank Page by Firefly
The blank page stares
At me now, or so it seems
Begging to be filled.

And I wrote this one last fall.

November by Firefly
After the leaves are gone,
The trees stand lonely and stark
Against the grey sky.

What do ya think?? :) I'd love to hear your opinion!

    1. Haiku is a lot of fun. :) I can never seem to make my words rhyme, so this works better for me! ;)
      Thank you, Jesseca!

  3. Oh I love these! :) "November" has great imagery, and "Blank Page" is something I can definitely relate to lol. I've not attempted Haikus before - don't think they'd go very well for me. Syllables are something I find hard to keep track of! Really love what you did with these, though.
