Hey everyone! :-) Sweet Raechel from God's Peculiar Treasure Rae tagged me for this neat, fact tag. ;)
Guidelines:
- Take the banner and paste it to your post.
- Tell a single, meaningful fact about who you are.
- Explain this fact as open, and explanatory as you can.
- Tag at least one other blogger, and give a reason why you think they should do this.
- Add a Bible verse to close out this tag.
- Thank the blogger who tagged you.
- Have fun!
So. Every other blogger that I follow who did this tag, did more than one fact. ;) So I'm joining in the rebellion and giving a couple facts as well. Just cuz I can. B-)
\ Fact 1# \
I looooove learning about World War Two, the 1940s, and people of the greatest generation. :) I've read oodles of books on the subject (fiction and non-fiction) and I'm always looking for more. :)
\ Fact 2# \
I'm a very visual person. I can perfectly 'see' all my characters in my mind. And I will spend lengthy amounts of time looking through tons of pictures to find the perfect one that IS my character. ;) That brings us to the next fact...
\ Fact 3# \
I'm ADDICTED to Pinterest. Like, seriously. I have boards for all my WIPs and finished stories, not to mention boards for oodles of other random things. ;)
\ Fact 4# \
I've been doing a little photography lately. I take pictures of random things all the time – food, books, dogs, and whatnot. But I've been paying more attention to different angles and ideas recently. :)
Since I tagged a multitude of folks just last night, I'm going to tag someone I didn't tag. :-) (I don't want to overload anyone. :P)

And now for the verse. :)
“For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.” -- Mark 13:34 KJV
Thank for tagging me, Raechel!! :D
Signing off,
~Faith

I had fun reading your facts about you, Faith! :)
ReplyDeleteWorld War Two is an interesting time period to study. I haven't done a lot of research on it, but the books I've read set in that time have been really fun! :)
I enjoy doing photography too! It is really fun! That dandelion picture is so cool!
WWII is super interesting. :) Books set in WWII? Like "A Distant Melody"? ;) LOL.
DeleteIt is fun!! :) I loved your flowers picture that you posted yesterday. :)
Thanks for commenting, Rebekah! I'm glad you enjoyed the post! ^_^
Yes, like "A Distant Melody", and the other Sarah Sundin books. ;)
DeleteThey're so amazing! :) It's strange, because I recommended "A Distant Melody" to you and now you've read more of Sarah Sundin than me. ;) LOL!
DeleteThis was super fun :) I gotta agree, there were so many cute couples from the 40s! I have a story idea for this era, but I really want to call it "The Book Thief" and that just doesn't seem right after the hype over the book by the same title. So . . . yeah. Still just an idea, though. *goes to follow you on Pinterest*
ReplyDeleteAren't there?? :) I could 'dedicate' an entire Pinterest board to that. ;) Haha! Yeah, I can see how that would put you in a pickle. ;) Sounds like a neat idea! One of my WIPs is a novel set during WWII (possibly 2 if I can ever finish this one to peer on the sequel XD) There'll probably be more of that around the blog...maybe...sometime...eventually.
Delete*whispers* I just followed you. ;) Thanks for commenting, Abi!
(That Pinterest thingy may or may not be the most profound thing I have ever seen. :P But could it also stand for The Pet Peeve of Productive People?)
ReplyDeleteTeasing. XD
It totally is. B-) Oh, yes, it most definitely could. I usually like to be productive, but I also love Pinterest, sooo. It's a win-win, lose-lose situation. XD
DeleteI know... LOL. Thnaks for commenting, Jonathan. ;)
Loved reading this, Faith! I love your facts, and totally agree about the cutest couples of the 40's! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd addicted to Pinterest...yes, me too!!
Thanks for tagging me, Raechel!! This was so fun. :) Aren't they though?? Absolutely adorable. ;)
DeleteAugh. It's annoying sometimes but...so fun. ;)
Thanks for your comment!
I'm glad you thought so! :)
DeleteHaha, so very true! Pinterest can definitely be a time-waster...XD
Hehe. ;). A time-waster....but an enjoyable one. XD
DeleteOh, the person after fact #1 reminds me of a certain young man I'm dying to know more about. Come to think of it, he's in WWII, too...
ReplyDeleteThis is so funny... I actually considered putting that picture in today's post as Joshua and his girlfriend (she hasn't been named yet). ;)
