Choose Your Own Story ~ Journey Through Taelis

Welcome to Stories by Firefly! Today I’m taking part in Sarah Holman’s Choose Your Own Story event. This is to celebrate the release of her latest book, Escape and Endurance. (In this event, you get to pick the outcome of the story by making choices. A lot of different things can happen.)

What are you waiting for? Start your adventure by clicking the image below.

He reached the West River and approached an old bridge. The next moment his horse jerked back as a rock hit him.
“This is my bridge, none shall pass.”
Sir Andrew rolled and withdrew his sword. “Come now! Show yourself! Who dares delay a knight of the king?”
An old man appeared from the bushes. “I’ve lived in the cottage yonder all my life. My grandfather built this bridge, and it is mine. You can either give me your horse and cross or fight me.”
Andrew thought for a moment and decided to…

Are you interested in reading about a knight, a tower, a princess, and a servant? Pick up a copy of Escape and Endurance! Haven’t read the other books in the Tales of Taelis series? Not to worry. Each book can stand alone.

  1. Cool! I think I understand how this link up is supposed to work, but when I pick one of the options, it takes me to different blogs and says the page I'm looking for doesn't exist...anyone else get this too?
    Sounds like a fun series!

    1. Yes, the linkup begins on Sarah's blog (linked through the Start Your Story Here graphic) and then depending on the options you choose, it will lead you to different blogs to continue the story. Those posts weren't up until after mine, which is why the links didn't work, but they're up now so the links work. :)

  2. So is this book actually the type that doesn't have an actual ending and you have to choose one or is this post just about like a writing challenge thing you can do an create a different ending?

    1. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure this story is just for the blog tour and for publicity of the book. :) The book itself has an actual ending.

  3. This was awesome! Girls, you'll want to click the first graphic, it takes you to the beginning of the story. If a link doesn't lead you to a post, wait until later. That blogs post isn't up yet;)
