Bookshelf Tour! A's

Hello everyone!
 After seeing this post on Shantelle's blog, I knew I wanted to do something similar. However, I knew I'd never find the time to take pictures and type out the titles and authors of all my books at once. So I thought of an alternative. :D My books are organized by the author's last name, so I'll post each letter separately. For example, today I'll post all the books whose author's last name starts with A. Get it? Sound fun? Then let's get started! :)

Y'all know how over-obsessive I am with stickin' in lots of pictures so hang with me. :)

Here's the top three shelves of my six-shelves bookshelf. Any comments about all the clutter (especially on shelf-3) is not accepted. B-)

I spread the books out on my rug beside the bed. Ain't it a pretty rug, by the way? ;)

- Ester Reid by Isabella Alden

Let me stop here and explain before I go on. I have lots of American Girl books (AG). Instead of putting them on my shelf according to author's last name, they're all on there as "American". :-) I've did this with a few other sets, but I'll add that in when the time comes.  :)

  1. Definitely continue! I have read some of your books, a few of the American Girl series, but I have to say that Josefina and Kirsten were my favorites of them all. ;) Which was your favorite series that you've read by them?

    1. I haven't read all of Josefina or Kirsten, though I'm not sure why. :) I really enjoyed Addy and Caroline. For a number-1 favorite, I'd have to go with Caroline. ;D

    1. I have lots of AG stuff too! I still have it, all boxed up in the basement. :) I used to go straight to these books when I was at the library and before I was able to get them myself. ;)
      Yes, I love the Felicity movie! Actually mine is currently at a friends house... :-/ Really? At one time I wanted one of the horses, but there was always things I'd 'rather have'. :)

    1. Thank you, Shantelle! Yes, they are beautiful books.

      Really?! Of all the dolls from years ago, I didn't get Felicity. A friend of mine had her, and she would bring her when they came to visit from FL. So pretty! XD

      Glad you're enjoying it! Thanks for commenting, Shantelle. :)

  4. You're so organized :D Your girl of the year books basically pick up where mine stop. I think I have Jess, Nicki, Mia, and Lanie! And that Kirsten treasury was my life when I was little!!! I can't wait to see the next posts!

    1. Well..the books are the only thing in my room that's organized. :) I've read the Nicki, Mia, and Jess books too, but I don't own them. Nicki was one of my favorites of the Girl of the Year books. ;) The Kirsten books are good. I think I nearly cried when Marta died in book-1. :'(

      Glad to hear your enjoying this, Ashley!! Thanks for commenting! }

    2. You are most definitely welcome! I haven't made up my mind yet as to whether or not I am going to do it on my blog, I'm not sure if all my adult readers would enjoy it very much. . . . I'll have to see. Here's and idea: what if all us reader's started a joint blog where we did this sort of stuff and whenever we got a new book, posted it? I donno. Just and idea! At this point I don't know if I should be attempting to maintain another blog! I'm sure you get it!
